The Tyrone Bobcats were the 53-45 winner over the Balko Bison when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Tyrone ended up on the wrong side of a rough 57-37 walloping at the hands of Balko on Tuesday.
Balko's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Halle Littau led the charge by scoring 13 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. Littau is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Estrella Martinez, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Tyrone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Balko, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Felt the next time they take the court. Tyrone will head out to face Felt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Balko will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
