Trinity Christian Academy got themselves on the board against First Assembly Christian on Friday, but First Assembly Christian never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Crusaders 48-0. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 42 points or more this season.

A big part of Trinity Christian Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Owen Atwood and his top target Cameron Hardin. Atwood threw for 91 yards and three touchdowns while Hardin gained 82 total yards and two touchdowns. Reed Williamson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Trinity Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Williamson and Gabe Lee. Williamson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win (which was Trinity Christian Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.7 points over those games. As for First Assembly Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
