The Gadsden City Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Guntersville Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gadsden City is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
On Tuesday, Gadsden City came up short against Parker and fell 45-32.
Despite the defeat, Gadsden City got a solid performance out of Destiny Whiteside, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds. The matchup was Whiteside's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Guntersville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 32 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Albertville 60-28 at home.
Hazel Green's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Gadsden City's defeat dropped theirs to 2-6.
Gadsden City lost to Guntersville on the road by a decisive 46-32 margin when the teams last played back in February. Can Gadsden City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
