Discovery Canyon barely beat The Classical Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunder were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Titans on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Carson Seeley made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Seeley was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Discovery Canyon got a great performance from Pierce Hafferkamp as he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts Hafferkamp has posted since back in March.
