The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Marauders apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October.
 Maclay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   George Grant, who threw for 280 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also caught a touchdown.  Henry Richardson did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 109  receiving yards.
 St. John Paul II now  has a losing record at 5-6. As for Maclay, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-3.
 St. John Paul II does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maclay, they are on the road again  on Friday to play Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m. Maclay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 32.2  points per game  this season.
