Lancaster will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Crandall at 7:15 p.m. Lancaster will be strutting in after a win while Crandall will be coming in after a loss.
Lancaster had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a goal and slipped past Copperas Cove 2-1. The victory was just what Lancaster needed coming off of a 11-0 defeat in their prior match.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Dorian Pinto and
Andres Castro, who scored.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Crandall's good fortune finally ran out last Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paris. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crandall in their matchups with Paris: they've now lost five in a row.
Lancaster's win bumped their record up to 2-9-1. As for Crandall, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Lancaster came up short against Crandall in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 2-0. Can Lancaster avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
