The CenTex HomeSchool Chargers will head out on the road to face off against Texas Wind at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Texas Wind took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on CenTex HomeSchool, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, CenTex HomeSchool beat Memorial Christian Academy 30-25.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead CenTex HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kolton Skinner, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keith Hernandez, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Texas Wind came up short against Valor Preparatory Academy on Tuesday and fell 62-49.
CenTex HomeSchool's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1. As for Texas Wind, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
CenTex HomeSchool was dealt a bruising 101-65 defeat at the hands of Texas Wind in their previous meeting back in January of 2022. Can CenTex HomeSchool avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
