The Lake Shore Shorians lost against the Ferndale Eagles back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lake Shore was the victim of a rough 32-6 loss at the hands of Ferndale. Lake Shore has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ferndale can attribute much of their success to Cullen Hock, who threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 87 yards on only eight carries. Ferndale also got help from Jaden Mills who showed off his sure hands for 137 receiving yards.
Ferndale's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB nine times. It was a group effort, with three guys contributing.
Lake Shore has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Ferndale, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Lake Shore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ferndale is also done with their season.
