Hardin-Jefferson extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Cordell Lowe. The Hawks breezed past the Port Arthur Memorial Titans to the tune of 61-30 on Friday with plenty of help from Lowe, who shot 86% from the field on his way to 15 points. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 64% in the last four games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Landon Sowders, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy.

Hardin-Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Port Arthur Memorial, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.

Hardin-Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-46 win against Silsbee on the 12th. As for Port Arthur Memorial, they have also already played their next game, a 67-55 defeat against Humble on the 12th.
