Colten Northern turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Tuesday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Central Linn is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-11 otherwise.

Northern's strong effort led Central Linn over Mohawk and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
