The Notre Dame Prep Saints stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Desert Mountain 67-18 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Notre Dame Prep as they're now sitting on five straight.
Notre Dame Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Pautz, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Mccracken, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Notre Dame Prep's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Desert Mountain, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Notre Dame Prep will be playing at home against Youngker at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Youngker focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday. As for Desert Mountain, they will head out on the road to challenge Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Horizon presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Desert Mountain in Arizona (Horizon is ranked 76th, while Desert Mountain is ranked 242nd).
