While Culver Academies didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 54-38 win over the Marquette Catholic Blazers on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Culver Academies' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Marquette Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Culver Academies won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Paw Paw at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Marquette Catholic, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bloomington South on January 3, 2025.
