Last Friday, McCauley Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Salem Sayers Baptist Academy, taking the game 55-45.
River City Believers Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 17, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 58-37 loss at the hands of First Baptist Academy. River City Believers Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.
River City Believers Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from Lukas Cox, who scored 12 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cox has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennen McGuire, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
McCauley Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for River City Believers Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
