Meanwhile, everything went Desert Hills' way against Cedar on Friday as Desert Hills made off with a 63-40 victory.
Desert Hills' win came from a few key players Hurricane will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ben Chase, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (four). Another player making a difference was Jack Openshaw, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points and five boards.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Hurricane has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 29.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Desert Hills struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.7 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Hurricane lost to Desert Hills at home by a decisive 64-48 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Openshaw, who went 9 of 11 on his way to 19 points and seven boards. Now that Hurricane knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
