Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Joseph Academy walked away with it. They never let the Warriors onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday.
St. Joseph Academy was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Owen Camp and
Kyle Jackson, who scored both of St. Joseph Academy's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 14 so far this season.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Christ's Church Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They had just enough and edged St. Johns Country Day out 5-4. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for one goal.
The win got St. Joseph Academy back to even at 7-7-2. As for Christ's Church Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.
