Football Recap: Dominic Walters and Giovanni Bartone Lead the Defense for Fort Leboeuf Win

Fort LeBoeuf won the last time they faced North East, and Skyler Sadowski did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bison claimed a resounding 32-3 win over the Grape Pickers with plenty of help from Sadowski, who rushed for 230 yards and three scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 123.5 rushing yards per game.

Fort LeBoeuf didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dominic Walters and Giovanni Bartone.

The victory made it two in a row for Fort LeBoeuf and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.5 points over those games. As for North East, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort LeBoeuf will challenge Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bison will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for North East, they will face off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grape Pickers will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
