Hubbard hasn't had much luck against South Range recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Hubbard is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Hubbard's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Girard by a score of 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won eight in a row.

Not much got past Kaylee Schultz, who gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks to keep Girard off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Haleigh Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Songer, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, South Range made sure to put some runs up on the board against Poland Seminary on Monday. The Raiders were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Bulldogs. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

South Range has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hubbard, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
