Sadly, Seneca is still looking for their first win of the season after six  games. They suffered a  tough 12-2 loss at the hands of the Harbor Creek Huskies  on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Seneca of the  6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2023.
  Michael Peterson was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with a  home run. Another player making a difference was  Klayton Komisarski, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Harbor Creek's side,  Sam LaFuria was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits (and only one walk). LaFuria was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Tyler Burick was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, three  runs,  and three  RBI while going 4-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more  RBI the last three times he's  played.  Caden Folmar was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Harbor Creek, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
 Seneca will head out on the road to  take on  North East at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Harbor Creek, they will  square off against Northwestern at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Harbor Creek knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Northwestern likes a good challenge.
