It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pee Dee Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 34-33 photo finish over the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Dolphins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Pee Dee Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Hilton Head Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Coming up, Pee Dee Academy will face off against Bethesda Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Golden Eagles will need to watch out since the Blazers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. Hilton Head Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
