Burwell extended the longest winning streak in D1 District 7 (8 Man) this week by beating West Boyd, 48-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Longhorns.
St. Mary's made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 500 from 566. The advance stemmed from a 44-16 victory over Clearwater/Orchard last week.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Burwell takes on the Cardinals. Luke Gideon's team has allowed 93 points this season, while St. Mary's has given up 110.
Chambers/Wheeler Central led the league in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on North Central.
