Lakeside School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 79-27 defeat at the hands of the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals. One positive for the Chiefs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Jayden Buckhannon, who went 9 of 12 en route to 23 points along with seven boards and five steals for Abbeville Christian Academy. The match was Buckhannon's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Rooty Ward was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Lakeside School's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Lakeside School has already played their next game (against Southern Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Abbeville Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-46 defeat against Trinity Christian on the 28th.
