The Lee Christian Falcons can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They breezed by Father Capodanno at home to the tune of 79-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lee Christian.
Lee Christian was led to victory by Christian Wilson and Daniel Rumbold. Wilson scored 27 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Rumbold dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jonas Martin, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Despite the loss, Father Capodanno still got an impressive performance from Luke Moon, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Attar, who scored 11 points.
Lee Christian pushed their record up to 12-9 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Father Capodanno, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which is still a better percentage than their 4-15 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee Christian will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Falcon Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 matchups -- so hopefully the Falcons likes a good challenge. As for Father Capodanno, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Eagles at 1:30 p.m.
