Marion had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Paragould Rams. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Marion's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Paragould, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Marion will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair will be back at it again later today.
