Roberts Posts Huge Game in 45-14 Victory
Starting off the list is Union Grove's Jace Roberts, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Roberts rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 251 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.9% of his passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.
Union Grove's win bumped their record up to 5-2. Roberts and Union Grove will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Harleton at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Lurbryson Ross's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fifth-straight game with 104+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 33 receiving yards.
Big Sandy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Ross and Big Sandy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Waskom at 7:00 p.m. on October 24th.
