Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, the San Diego Vaqueros couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of London on Thursday. San Diego's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Jayden Lozano threw for 95 yards on 14 of 26 attempts. Tyler Saenz was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.
San Diego's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for London, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
San Diego does not have any more games scheduled as of now. London will face off against Blanco at TBD on Friday. Blanco knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully London likes a good challenge.
