Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic breezed by St. Paul Catholic on the road to the tune of 35-0. Winning may never get old, but Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Evan Schibi, who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Aiden Avenia and his 114 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic's win.
Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for St. Paul Catholic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic will head out on the road to face off against Tolland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tolland will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. St. Paul Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
