Softball Recap: Corinth's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Corinth's victory against West Point wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors skirted past the Green Wave 15-13. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Addyson Moore was incredible, firing off three triples, three runs, and four RBI while going 4-for-5. Those three triples gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Parchman, who scored three runs while going 4-for-5.

Moore wasn't the only one making solid contact: Corinth kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The Warriors are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The victory (which was Corinth's third in a row) raised their record to 9-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for West Point, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

Corinth will have a chance to go back-to-back against West Point: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
