In what's become a running theme this season, the Tahoma Bears gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 72-28 victory over Mt. Rainier. That 44 points margin sets a new team best for Tahoma this season.
It was another big night for Adam Davis, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Stonerock, who scored 11 points.
Mt. Rainier lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zach Luz, who scored six points along with ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Wesley Armstrong, who scored four points.
Mt. Rainier struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Tahoma pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Mt. Rainier, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
Tahoma will be playing in front of their home fans against Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Olympia is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Mt. Rainier, they will square off against Kamiak at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Kamiak is ranked 187th, while Mt. Rainier is ranked 167th).
