Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I recap Nov. 7, 2012
Hutchinson extended the longest winning streak in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I this week by beating Heights, 42-7. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Salt Hawks.
Derby took down North 70-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
South's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Justin Stonebraker threw for 76 and two touchdowns and Ryan Fox had 26 yards receiving. On the ground Cody Busby chipped in 156 yards. Michael Linton helped South's passing attack out by catching three balls for 21 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Coleman Kingsley of Newton is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1031. He has also thrown five touchdowns. On the ground, the Cougars' Mike Jones has rushed for 1466 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Gabe Chavez. The Haysville Campus star has 23 catches for 420 yards.
Haysville Campus made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,261 from 9,671.
