When it comes to explaining why Barberton lost , one person who can't be blamed is Dominic Wilson. Despite the final result, he threw for 302 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in three touchdowns on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelo Harper, who picked up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Barberton's loss on Friday dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Aurora, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barberton will square off against Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cuyahoga Falls is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for Aurora, they will head out on the road to face off against Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
