Lee jr scored 23 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Knox went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 2 assists. The game was Knox's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Calvin Borgard was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Seffner Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.5 points per game. As for Cumberland County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Seffner Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rock Creek Christian Academy at 6:25 p.m. on December 28th. Rock Creek Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Seffner Christian in their respective states (Rock Creek Christian Academy is ranked 24th in Maryland, while Seffner Christian is ranked 86th in Florida). As for Cumberland County, they will look to defend their home court on January 5, 2024 against Livingston Academy at 6:00 p.m.
