Faith Christian Academy will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Kingsway Christian extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Wayside Christian.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Kingsway Christian was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-15.

Kingsway Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Norah Terrigan led the charge by getting five aces and one assist. Those five aces gave Terrigan a new career-high. Callie Kowalczyk also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Kingsway Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 31 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Kingsway Christian by a score of 3-2 on September 2nd. While Faith Christian Academy didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Kingsway Christian 25-21 in the first set.
Faith Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 13-25, 27-25, 25-16, 15-7.
Kingsway Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Faith Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Kingsway Christian skirted past Faith Christian Academy 3-2 when the teams last played on September 2nd. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will Faith Christian Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
