Elko is 10-0 against South Tahoe since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Elko Indians will stay at home for another game and welcome the South Tahoe Vikings at 5:15 p.m. on February 12th. Elko has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 307 points over their last five games.
Last Wednesday, Elko beat Spring Creek 56-46.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 23% better than the opposition, a fact South Tahoe proved on Friday. They came out on top against Sparks by a score of 60-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Tahoe.
South Tahoe's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kai McClain, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryder Tannaci, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Elko has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for South Tahoe, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
Elko strolled past South Tahoe when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 50-35. Will Elko repeat their success, or does South Tahoe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
