Roscommon's Brett Jobin rumbled for the longest rushing play in Jack Pine this season in his game against Harrison last week. Jobin's team defeated the Hornets as he sprinted for 63 yards on the play and finished with 293 in all.
Clare was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in the league. The Pioneers defeated Houghton Lake 40-15 earlier in the week.
Rithie Mathis put up the best numbers through the air as Gladwin bested Beaverton. He had a total of 6 completions for 88 yards.
Jobin was a passing and rushing force as Roscommon defeated Harrison.
Jobin was a beast in the backfield as Joe Holloway's team bested Dick Harris' team.
Jobin was the most successful running back in the league this week. Teammate Caleb Jernigan added to the ground attack by rushing for 37 yards.
Jernigan made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bucks beat the Hornets. The 5-foot-8 senior.
Joe Huston was the best wideout in Jack Pine this week as Clare bested the Bobcats. Huston racked up 3 receptions for 69 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Dylan Andrews. The Roscommon star has 13 catches for 223 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Kelly Luplow's team takes on the Flying G's. The Pioneers are currently in fourth, while Gladwin is in second.
Harrison moved up to 394 from 443 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Hornets climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Roscommon 24-22.
