On Friday, Vincennes Lincoln was fully in charge, breezing past Grayville 79-48 on the road. Given Vincennes Lincoln's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked tenth in Indiana, while Grayville is ranked 338th in Illinois), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Vincennes Lincoln's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Hall, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joel Sanders, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds.
Several Bison players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty'zae Rowland, who scored 12 points. The game was Rowland's third in a row with at least ten points. Jake Hosman was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Vincennes Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Grayville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Vincennes Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Lawrenceville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lawrenceville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Friday. Grayville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fairfield at 6:00 p.m. on November 24th.
