While losing is never fun, Cleveland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1172nd, while Klein Collins is ranked 353rd).
Klein Collins had a senior duo take command as Almoni Malone scored 13 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals and Fredrick Taylor scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds. The game was Malone's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Perez, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Klein Collins, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
