Old Mill entered their tilt with Severn Run on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Severn Run Wolves 72-45. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 27 points or more this season.

Severn Run's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Gonzalez, who posted 12 points and three steals. Gonzalez has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Richards, who put up six points.

Old Mill's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.5 points. As for Severn Run, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which is still a better percentage than their 4-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Old Mill will challenge Crofton at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Severn Run, they will head out on the road to take on Broadneck at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
