The Ayaprun Jaegers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Nelson Island, falling 91-62. Ayaprun was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-33.
Brennan Lincoln continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Nelson Island, scoring 53 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lincoln has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnny Nicholai, who scored 18 points.
Ayaprun's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Nelson Island, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
Ayaprun does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nelson Island also has no future games currently scheduled.
