The Peniel Baptist Academy Warriors walked away with a 9-6 win over the St. Johns Country Day Spartans on Tuesday. Alexis Peacock made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Adelina Dodge was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Allison Peacock, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Peniel Baptist Academy's record now sits at 3-0. As for St. Johns Country Day, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
