The Biglerville Canners will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against the York Catholic Fighting Irish at 4:15  p.m. Biglerville is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 11  runs per game  this season.

 Biglerville let  Alexis Pickett and  Olivia Miller loose on the outfield. Pickett  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Miller  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kierney Weigle, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, York Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss. They fell victim to a  rough 15-0 defeat at the hands of West York Area. While getting shut out isn't ideal, York Catholic has not been shut out since  back in March.
 Biglerville's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-2. As for York Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Everything went Biglerville's way against York Catholic in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 as Biglerville made off with  a  12-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Biglerville since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
