First Flight is 9-0-1 against Northeastern since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Nighthawks will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. First Flight will be strutting in after a win while Northeastern will be coming in after a loss.

First Flight is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Martin County get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Monday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering First Flight's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 76th, while Martin County are ranked 513th).

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Northeastern's offense. They came up short against Currituck County on Monday, falling 5-0. Northeastern have struggled against Currituck County recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

First Flight is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. As for Northeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1.

First Flight took their win against Northeastern when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Nighthawks repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
