The Leland Comets will head out on the road to face off against the Onekama Portagers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Onekama took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Leland, who comes in off a win.
Leland scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Grand Traverse Academy 67-12 on the road. The victory was just what Leland needed coming off of a 75-54 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Onekama came up short against Kingsley on Saturday and fell 48-38.
The win got Leland back to even at 2-2. As for Onekama, they bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Leland suffered a grim 65-43 defeat to Onekama in their previous matchup back in February. Can Leland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
