After a 4-4 finish the last time they played, the Rockmart Yellowjackets and the North Murray Mountaineers decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Rockmart took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Murray on Friday.
Rockmart's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Murray, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Rockmart will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Haralson County at 5:30 p.m. on February 27th. As for North Murray, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fannin County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
