The Watseka Warriors''s seven-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They strolled past Hoopeston/Armstrong with points to spare, taking the game 41-27. The win was just what Watseka needed coming off of a 36-7 defeat in their prior matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Hoopeston/Armstrong lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kollin Asbury. Despite the final result, he picked up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Watseka's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Hoopeston/Armstrong, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Watseka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hoopeston/Armstrong is also done with their season.
