After flying high against the Greenleaf Friends Academy Grizzlies last Thursday, the Riverstone International Otters came back down to earth. Riverstone International fell 76-69 to Compass Charter on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Thursday (68), Riverstone International still had to take the loss.
Riverstone International's loss came despite strong showings from Jason Koval and Conrad Ness. Koval scored 27 points along with 5 rebounds, while Ness scored 21 points along with 5 rebounds. The match was Koval's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amer Sangha, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.
Riverstone International now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Compass Charter, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Riverstone International's road trip will continue as they head out to face North Star at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Compass Charter, they will be playing at home against Vision at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
