Even though the Buffalo Bison have not done well against the Sherman Tide recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Buffalo blew past Sherman, posting a 54-14 victory at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Buffalo.
Leading Buffalo to victory were Alivia Luikart and Lauren White. Luikart scored 14 points, while White scored 10 points along with 7 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Luikart has scored at least 25% of Buffalo's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Boggess, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Buffalo now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sherman, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buffalo will challenge Clay County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sherman won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Scott at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Scott focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
