Alcoa waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Manatee Hurricanes.

Bleau Kennedy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Myles Cox, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Alcoa's record is now 16-4. As for Manatee, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alcoa will face off against Sweetwater at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manatee, they will challenge Loudon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
