Lincoln had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Des Moines East on Friday 40-26. This was the first game for both teams, giving Lincoln a 1-0 record and starting Des Moines East off at 0-1.
Next week, Lincoln take on Roosevelt at 7:00 PM. As for Des Moines East, they will face of against Des Moines North.
