West Jones' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 61-46 bruising from Terry. While losing is never fun, West Jones can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Terry is ranked 21st).
Meanwhile, Pearl River Central lost to Terry on the road by a decisive 61-47 margin on Saturday.
West Jones' loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Pearl River Central, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9.
West Jones didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Pearl River Central in their previous matchup on January 9th, but they still walked away with a 67-62 victory.
