Catholic Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 46-6 victory over the East Kentwood Falcons. Considering the Shamrocks have won nine matchups by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Cedric Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 117 yards and one touchdown.

Catholic Central's run defense was locked in: East Kentwood could only muster 2.1 yards per carry. The Shamrocks hasn't allowed more than 4.6 yards per carry in three consecutive contests.

Catholic Central's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for East Kentwood, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Catholic Central will take on Cass Tech at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. The Shamrocks will need to watch out since the Technicians have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine games. East Kentwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
